Currently, the problem of repairing parts is an urgent task, at the moment 30% of parts rejected during overhaul are restored by various technological processes, we can repair up to 80% of parts.

In the repair and restoration of parts, gas thermal coatings are one of the main effective methods. Worn and restored units that are suitable for operation cost less compared to the purchase of new ones. Regular maintenance covers result in longer service intervals, retention, and/or performance improvements.

The main advantages of the proposed repair technology based on gas thermal spraying and laser cladding include the following:

  • possibility of repeated restoration of worn-out parts,

  • a significant increase in the resource by giving them new operational properties,

  • the cost of restoration is much less than the cost of new parts,

  • wide range of metal materials: non-ferrous metals, babbitt, steels, stainless alloys, ceramics, hard alloys (carbides),

  • the absence of thermal leads, in contrast to traditional surfacing: the surface temperature during spraying does not exceed 120 ° С.
